Awesome. So what's the name of your band? I was torn between Slam Dunk and AJJ. Decided to go with the latter as it's only the first 3 bands of Slam Dunk I would want to see and it was a tad on the expensive side. You'll probably spot me quite easily; I'm the tall, big built lassie who always seems to look slightly out of place!

They certainly are. I've heard alot of good things about them and knew they were one of the support acts for The Menzingers last year (who I very stupidly decided to miss) - and I don't think The Menzingers would have a terrible band playing with them. Shall definitely need to listen to alot more from them.

Just found out that Buffalo Tom are playing Oran Mor on 12th March!

I can understand where you're coming from, it has lots of information in it but sometimes you just want to get to the meat and it's faffing about with where Gang Of Four used to go drinking every tuesday night. I need to listen to some Crass again, I didn't really get past the first few tracks last time, may look some of their stuff up out of interest. Mainstream music is probably more of a commodity whereas non mainstream stuff is more of an art, ha take that as a quotation.

STU,You're such a fucking music facist :D Just felt like telling you that. I will read the bit about Mission Of Burma because I haven't really read much about them so I am intrigued. Have you read "Rip it up and start again"? Brilliant book, was reading the section on the rise of industrial and I like me a bit of Throbbing Gristle but they were sick fucks, Genesis P-Orridge would inject rotten eggs and blood into his anus and shit it all out on the floor and do this as "performance art". My teacher at school told me not to listen to TG because it was evil, same guy who gave me a crass cd....

I wasn't massively keen but I think it might just have been because I was so excited to FINALLY see the Gaslight Anthem!
