hooray! I think daytrotter is the greatest. Delta Spirit and The Local Natives both have amazing sessions worth checking out. The Tallest Man on Earth is also a good one, but I don't know how you'd feel about Dylanesque music....

so what has/would qualify as one of these very special cases? http://www.daytrotter.com/ls/live-shows.html ? It doesn't really look like your type of music from what i can gather from all the charts and graphs...but a pumpkin patch and corn maze? how can you not like those!

and maybe that explains why i'm so addicted to it... it may not be exotic, but you still get better shows than we do here. i've considered making the drive multiple times.

i suppose that's a pretty accurate statement haha. i'm not from eau claire, but a place called ames, iowa, unfortunately. ames isn't unfortunate, but being in it for twenty years is. i suppose it's my own fault...i chose to go to iowa state. do you get to call an exotic and exciting location home?

Yeah, it was really good! Even though it was sold out it wasn't like impossible to move around which was nice but they were great...It was so weird hearing stuff from Daydream Nation or older but awesome XD But yeah definitely a great show and I was glad to see that they're still so into it

I did! and it was wonderful! Yeah, it was more of a dance party really. The crowd was awesome, everyone was so into the music - and the guys picked up on it. The extended version of fireworks was bliss. I got to meet the guys afterward and I talked to Panda Bear for a few.

I see you are trying to find yourself (so am I), perhaps the first big step towards reaching that goal could be joining our group. http://www.last.fm/group/We+Know+about+Reptoids

yeah, that is a good point. i used to live like half an hour from the twin cities though so i've been way spoiled. the day before move-in day here i went and saw aesop rock in duluth, arrived home at about five in the morning, haha. totally worth it as well. i really haven't gone to see anything since coming here which kind of sucks because so many things have been passing through the cities this fall!
