I Have A Special Plan For The World is great. The band has gone through quite a number of different music styles. It's down to personal preference what you'd prefer, but the first C93 album I got was Of Ruine And Some Blazing Starre, which I thought was perfect and still possibly my favourite C93. Thunder Perfect Mind is their classic album, another great starting point. Yeah, one of these two would be good. I'd stay away from their last three albums until you get used to their sound.

Hello Alexander. Thank you for the kind words and yes, you have great taste too. The fact you love NSB/TSM, Grouper, Prurient and Current 93 make me think wow. My album doesn't bear much resemblance to NSB, even though they're one of my favourite artists. My music taste is all over the place, really. Your NSB collection is fantastic. Unfortunately, I only have them in digital format.

All the pretty little horses for neofolk, dog's blood rising for industrial. C93 have such a vast (still, with a very few "weak" albums) discography it's easy to get lost. :D

I have, and I liked it to some extent. They're moving away from their old style which I enjoyed very much. They now sound more like a run-of-the-mill post-rock band and the somewhat hard use of compression annoys me slightly.

of Montreal's definitely one of my top bands. Their earlier stuff's pretty twee, but they got into psychedelic electropop as they went on. I'd recommend Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? if you wanna try them on for size.

Don't. Album is probably a 6.3/10, but Pumped Up Kicks is a 10/10 song
