gotta be honest, foals got me through 2 actual breakups but maybe it's not deep enough... i'm thinkin about perhaps 12 rods, definitely Low if you want something soothing (their albums are all a bit different from one another so it's very probable you'll find what you're looking for in some of em); hope-inspiring and sometimes deeply heartbreaking in a mythical sense: joanna newsom; absolutely soul-tearing: mitski... right now can't recall anything else but i'll try to! also i discovered the magnetic fields literally a few days ago and i agree, they're really really nice and surprising. and thnx for the compliment btw! hope you get out of the emotional quicksand soon <3
