I wonder what's the fcking problem with the alternative cover, the original one is just fugly, basic and has nothing to do with their sound...

IKR?! the hypocrisy itself hahahahaha sadly Kelli wasn't successful commercially or acclaimed by the critics in her solo project :/

I've must confess that I never heard her songs. gotta take a look later on. and the Sneaker Pimps break-up text for the 90s looks kind of aesthetic from this point of view I like it

I like this album so much that I've avoided the other ones because I want to preserve my memory of the band this way

This URL is the only way I know of now... I think I originally found it through a song or playlist that had been saved before the change. It was a strange find I can't replicate now. Weirdly enough, though Spotify lists this as an album, none of the songs on it lead to this version. So it's like they just changed the indexes, except for the original mix of Post-Modern Sleaze, which just isn't there.

Nice, man. I appreciate this. I bought the CD back in the 90s and was always used to this being the artwork. Apparently, the cover with the band on the front is the UK version. Unfortunately, if you play tracks from the version you linked, it just brings up the re-release so you still can’t have the proper U.S. artwork

Yeah, unfortunately the tracks that are identical will show the new artwork when you actually play them, but at least here you have the original mixes of everything except Post-Modern Sleaze. I make my own playlist to include the mix of Post-Modern Sleaze that's available.

Current CD versions also come with the remixes and I didn't even know they were not the original versions.

it seems really weird to compare Sneaker Pimps on this album and later - they sound like two completely different bands.. that said, while some of the biggest hits are here, I think the debut is my least fave album from them, "Splinter" is more understated but more rewarding stuff and "Becoming X" is very solid with some great songs (Loretta Young Silks!), too

Totally agree with most of the preceding comments - this is an epic album, and it's crazy that they let Kelli go.

What a great album. They really made a mistake by kicking out Kelli. Her voice is just perfect with this music" [3].
