This song is so looming and drastically different from the songs before it that it kind of made me feel like I was gonna have a panic attack. This album would be perfect without this song and some of the samples...

y'all mofos are crazy...the girls vocals that come in around the 2 minute mark is one of the most beautiful and enticing things I've ever heard

the band itself is amazing despite this song, so please dont shrug off the entire band...

Reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins stuff. [2] Definitely hear an Adore/Machina influence. I agree that it's kind of out of place on the album, but I like it.

Why on Earth do the bulk of you people not like the vocals? They fit the tone of the song, and that's what matters.

Not an expert in this field/genre, and genre-ising everything is pathetic in my view, but what i have of post-rock so far is that most of Maybeshewill's other material fits the genre, hence the inclusion of this song. All bands have a divergence from their original sound at some point, it's called experimentation. Otherwise all their songs will sound the same = Boring. Some times experimentation works, other times it is best left alone.

@lateralus: it was driving me crazy but i found her... "Heartflusters features vocals from Jack Peachey of Gallery 47 (who also wrote the lyrics for the track) and Rosie Leah Backen, who would later appear on 'He Films The Clouds Pt. 2'." http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=265376

That song is absolutely amazing! I'll never understand how people hate this song. Who does the female vocals? Seriously, one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in a long time. Reminds me of Anathema a bit.

"It's not very often that I am listening to an album and am really enjoying it, and then come across one song that I just have to skip... But this is one of those songs :(" [2]
