This song helped make for a great fight sequence in the original Karate Kid movie. RIP Pat Morita. You are missed!

This song will forever put a smile on my face. Not because of the Karate Kid, but because Tim Lovejoy and the Soccer AM crew used it to hilarious effect in their male bravado skits.

Esposito revealed that the song was originally intended for the "Rocky III" soundtrack but was replaced by "Eye of the Tiger." John Avildsen, who directed the "Karate Kid", liked the song so much he used it in "Karate Kid."
