Elliott Yamin topped the charts with "Wait for You" from his Platinum album, which debuted number one on Billboard. Placing third on American Idol, guest coach Stevie Wonder told Yamin he should pursue a career in music; Simon Cowell stated Yamin was "potentially the best male vocalist" in five seasons and after Yamin's "A Song for You" performance, declared it a "vocal masterclass” which also ranked third on Entertainment Weekly's countdown of the 16 best American Idol performances. Elliott Yamin’s other hits include "Fight for Love," "Can't Keep on Loving You (From A Distance)," "Moody's Mood for Love" and “Movin' On."
