yes it's highly uncommon instrument in jazz but yusef can pull of with anything. i know eric dolphy plays oboe but i'm not sure if he ever recorded it on album (must check out)

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it. I really enjoy pen and ink, you can probably tell how much fun I had in the process! WHat's interesting is, I use a Copic fineliner (0.05) and that doesn't get smudged by water, while normal ink does. That's what give it that effect. Try it some time!

tori said she'll not gonna tour the till 2010 oder 2011. she's doing a musical in london and wants to be with her little daughter. tash hates touring. but I have to admit: tori concerts are much better than NIN concerts. BUT much more expensive..and hell YES I want a NIN concert this year. they should come to europe again! :D

I like lots of classical music - most of all the music from the Vienna classic (Mozart, Beethoven) and the Romantic age (Tschaikowsky, Grieg, Bizet, Mendelssohn...). ;-)

Give it a try! Just do it on graph paper ;) I'm 16, so I haven't gone to Art College YET. I take Art as a subject at school, but they don't teach you to draw any more, they just give kind of guidance, you know? I pick most things up from looking at art, taking criticism from other artists and looking at tutorials online, etc. Is that schooled?

I'm afraid I don't have pictures of the process of it on the computer, as it's all in my school sketchbook, but all I did was draw one thing, repeat and rotate, then thought of something to go in the spaces. People think it's incredibly difficult, and so they don't try it. That's why there isn't much, I'd guess :)

Okay, that's good - you will love Erich Kunzel. He's a great arranger. I've got three Telarc (Yeah - very good label!!) CDs of Kunzel & the Cincinatti Pops. Do you like Aimee Mann and her "Magnolia"-soundtrack? Great movie, great songs. cu ;-))

Actually, I'm amusingly bad at using paint. I generally stick to pencil, ink, pastels and Photoshop :D But tessellation probably isn't as hard as you think it is. It's not too hard if you have a lightbox and imagination!
