à propos my remark about 羅百吉, i meant that the music was extremely straightforward, lively, and relied on the unsubtle execution of genre tropes to the point of seeming clownish or inept. i was able to enjoy the music on its own terms (maybe to a limited extent) and also feel some amusement and curiosity about the person who made it, and the intended audience. "so bad it's good" or "ironic" would be other phrases to get the same idea across.
