Ah well, most of my favourite bands split up before I got into them. When their next album comes out and it makes them as big as Kings of Leon they'll do a world tour. That said, if they release another album i'm not arsed about, I probably won't go and see them.

No worries. By the way, It took me a year before I properly started liking their old stuff. It was basically after I saw them live for the 2nd time haha

I got into them through Puzzle, so imo it'd be a good place to start, although Only Revolutions is probably easier to get into, I wouldn't know. Anyway, once you're familiar with the newer try out Blackened Sky, give it a chance etc and that's the easiest way to get your head around the first 3 albums. Once you like Blackened Sky go for the other two, as they're 2 of the best albums EVER made.

Yeah I always think of The Cardigans as being an English band who happen to be from Sweden ahha. I love The Strokes too, there's something about The Strokes and The Libertines, in a way they're alike, but then they're not really alike at all! Can't wait for The Strokes to do a new album as well. Are you into their solo stuff? The only one I've really loved so far is Julian Casablancas's album. Ah I love Manchester, it's such a great city, my sister lives there so I've been to visit a few times, which is why I've chosen to live there, I can't wait! I'm definitely gonna give Laakso a listen, never ever heard of them, and I always want to hear something new and different

I live in North Devon, in southwest England, which like you is far away from concerts. Maybe not quite as far away I guess, but still far. I come from here and was studying at University near London, so I left to come back here just after I was finished. I'm planning on moving to Manchester in a month though, excited about that, loooaadds more gigs there!! Ah cool, but how did you get into English bands in the first place? I'd have absolutely no clue about Swedish bands. Actually I LOVE The Cardigans!! But that's about as far as I get hahah

Yeah I was lucky, I was living in London while they were together! Where abouts do you live? I see you're in Sweden, but you like a lot of English and American bands? How do you get to know about them?

Haha lucky! I love them, though I haven't seen them play for a long time. I got to see them, and The Libertines a lot in the early days, but where I live right now no bands play, not fair! I did get to see Pete play at Glastonbury festival though, it was a bit of an odd gig, but still good.

I see you're a big Babyshambles fan, have you been able to see them live much?x
