Oh man, Cloud Cult. I only recently got into them, but I haven't been able to stop listening to Feel Good Ghosts - definitely check it out, it's such a fantastic album. The Meaning Of 8 is great, too, but it doesn't come close to Feel Good Ghosts in my opinion.

Thanks for a great mix! I'd never hear John Heart Jackie or This Frontier Needs Heroes before, and I loved them so much that I am getting the rest of the albums on iTunes right away. All in all though, a really enjoyable experience. I also liked hearing some Canadian bands I haven't had much exposure to.

Trail of Dead was surprisingly nice, I mean, I didn't like them a lot, I remember liking the Melon Collie-era Smashing Pumpkins, which they reminded me of, but there's too many symphonical bits for my liking, plus the singer is nowhere near Corgan. Nevertheless, contrary to what I'd like to think about 'conventional' (two guitars, bass, drums, singer, maybe some electronic fussing) bands that are sort of cool nowadays, or 'in', or whatever's the word, they were actually good. Not a revelation, but a sort of eye-opener all the same. Thanks.
