Really? Huh . . . I always felt like Elton's version, besides being better produced/mixed (I can't fault the Who for this . . . the vast majority of music from the 60s was not all that "hi-fi"), added a much-needed resolution to the song. The Who's version ends very abruptly, I thought, and I wish they'd expanded on it instead of including some of the other tracks on the album. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for piano and extended instrumental breaks.

Speaking of Elton, what is your opinion on "Pinball Wizard" (besides that it's a ridiculous song)? The Who's version, or Elton's version?

I just listened to Future Days with Collin this afternoon as a semi-album project. If I could go again, I think that's what I'd do.
