ah +18 shows, soon to be a thing of a past, i'm still recovering from missing all the +18 laneway sideshows. i guess i'll see about medical science, and you're right, if i really want to med i'll end up doing it. human anatomy, awesome but so much content to memorise huh, and yep usyd is currently in the lead, although i sort of wanted to avoid the pretentiousness a bit, i love the uni so i'll probs end up there, i'll see you around if i do for sure, manning bar funtimes woo haha

yeah i saw gypsy and the cat at bdo, they were really good actually, set a good tone for the festival. yeah kind of glad i haven't turned 18 as it put me on a leash from gigs until hsc is over, birthday is in december. hahaha you must of seen my listography huh, yer umat failed me too, so i'm thinking of doing undergrad med sci at syd (basically 200 people who want to do med in a room together ggggreat), so i can at least go into med research if medicine doesn't work out or maybe do arts and keep HDs and study for gamsat oh so alone. awesome! do you like physio? you still wanting to do med? my parents are all like 'you're good at english do law' but it's completely unappealing to me haha, but med is a tough career. guide me twin! sorry for so many questions but that's so interesting!

hi! i know our musical compatibility is right to the brim, which is crazy yet beautiful. hmm... sometimes but not often seeing as i'm limited to bands anyway since i'm not 18+ yet, i often get the old 'oh yer i'm so keen!' then they never follow through but i've got a few standard gig buddies. lack of money is more so the culprit! i see you're going to laneway + bon iver on the same night as me! cannot wait to hear justin's perfect voice, tears are imminent.

so sad, that carlos left the band. at least he's the on the new album. but I will miss him on stage. that's going to be awkward with him missing, I think . but there's a little hope for his new music projects. still shocked though....

Were you at the Big Top gig as well? If you go here --> http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/signup/2010/mar/21/phoenix-wolfgang-amadeus-phoenix-free-download <-- you can grab an 8 song live recording of the Sydney gig! It's sooo amazing! thats hard as most indie bands dont have the support from major labels... of course there are some local organizers who always try to bring them here, such as secret machines, ok go, kings of convenience coming up in the next few months. but the likes of bloc party, interpol, yyys... are certainly "too huge" for them i guess. so they all go to japan instead! lol

not sure, but reports suggest that its a full house. and $580 standing was sold out in 2 days!! u can easily tell they are the hottest band in the city as the '07 show was a sold out too... hey but i believe there are more gigs u could attend in aus? at least there is the mighty MODULAR with a hell load of quality bands : D

words cannot describe a muse live experience. they are the greatest live band in our generation! this time they even improved the visual effects on stage... their new songs sounded better than in studio too! like... frankly speaking i hate uprising, but i cant deny that it really suits playing live! they are immense. just brilliant

Yup. Thing is, as you said, it's good that he did his own thing and didn't try to change interpol into this.. But it's so bad it hurts, haha. A lot of tunes have potential (and some are just awful plain through), but he seems to mess them all up in a kind of tragicomic way. Oh well, new interpol album coming soon.. Will surely make up for this "treachery" :) And also, on the subject of Paul Banks-bashing, the name "Julian Plenti" is awful, haha. I mean, pseudonyms and spectacular artist-names in all its honor, but no Paul... Just no! Oh well.
