I really don't understand why so many people can dislike Tales Don't Tell Themselves. I like screamo as much as anyone, but that record has some incredibly powerful moments. The storytelling and musicianship is far superior to anything else they've ever written. It floors me that almost no one else gets it.

I've had that happen to me before, I was looking at my friends' ipod and he had Cream. So I click it, and he only has Sunshine of Your Love. I don't understand how people can only have one or two songs on their iPods. I have an 8gb with whole albums, and absolutely no space.

and on a different note, what's a good place to start with The Prodigy? I've never listened to them, but I've been told I'd like them.

I thought it was good, but not great. I think at this point in their career it should be no surprise for a new NFG album to maybe be a bit repetitive, but they are still one of highest quality bands of their genre. And my top 2 are Catalyst and s/t in that order.

as for Chevelle the new album is ok a few good songs, I perfer their older music. I have seen them Live and they put on a amazing show. I see you like Cold...I like alot of their songs.

How about Decoder? They put out their debut earlier this year, and it's definitely one of my favorite releases of the year. Very atmospheric, and I like their vocalist a lot.

thanks man. im not really an expert on old hardcore but i like how the original bands took everything that made a song good and did the opposite and made songs about real problems on the larger scale and not just ohh i grew up in a poor neighborhood im tough dont disrespect me blahblah. i listen to it but only for the adrenalin rush for workouts haha

nice, i think i found the band out from one of the cd inserts of either Spineshank or Slipknot.. i'm not sure. Either way i got into them with Pacifier & then Violence. Then i got the Atrocity album amazing! IMO that's their best one.

I have added the Atrocity album to my playlist, by the way those are memorable lyrics from 'The Sick'.
