Really enjoy everything up to Quintessence....ICS Vortex is definitely one of the best front-men going...was lucky enough to catch him in Arcturus last year which was something special! I'll have to agree with you, Portal of I was a bit too overproduced, but I fear thats how a lot of prog metal (who am i kidding, all metal) is now. Even a lot of modern Black Metal (other than NeO) has been very polished and pristine. A few bands have pulled it off very well, but a lot of it sounds digital and fake.

Always good to meet a fellow TGOO fan. Can't wait for January! I see you're interested in Deathkult too? That lineup is shaping up really nicely but I doubt they can top last year's headliners (Urfaust/D666/Inquisition)
