I had a period where I wasn't much for fantasy either, read a lot of classics (dickens, oscar wilde, arthur conan doyle) ^^ I've read too much high fantasy when I was younger, the thrill is gone, but occassionally I still enjoy it :)

Can't help but think that Sigh set the precedent, not only for Jap bands like gonin-ish, but for hundreds of experimental and avant-garde genres....I could be slightly off the mark, but their later albums reeked of such stuff, esp the last one! Mirai is one genius SOB

Just heard Gonin-ish...pretty interesting stuff....avant-garde but tight as hell....some serious songwriting there....these japs never fail to amaze me
