Hey. Wanted to soak the new DT album a bit more. I like it a lot. Mostly epics, but I think they're paying more attention to melody than usual, but it's still DT, so there's plenty of noodling about. It's got some heavy moments. If you're already a fan, there's no reason to skip it. The bonus disc with the covers is fun, too.

Yea, same here! So pleased by this news :-) and yep, I had an awesome time @ the Marillion Weekend! The Saturday gig was superb and we all agreed that it would be impossible for them to surpass it, but they easily equalled it on the Sunday night! Best weekend of my life :-) Was the Montreal weekend well attended?

You know, real life comes back at you quickly, especially when you have to find a job/prepare to move/do taxes, but I've amped up the Marillion the past couple weeks to keep up the spirit. It was pretty fantastic. Nice to have a friend on last.fm with "Super" compatibility for once. ;)

Well, the album I know best is V - which is great, in my opinion. I've listened to some of their other albums but none really captured me. I mean, I can't really remember how any of them go, because they're all so similar at the core. V is great - it's got good melodies and kickass instrumentals, but at the end, you can't take them too seriously.
