you really can't compare the first and second one. but give it a listen when you have the time; even though I didn't, you might like it! It's not that the keyboard sounds like puke, but they really overused it in many of the songs - on some points it was simply unbearable. like in the end of 'blinking pigs'

haha, don't worry about me - I'll get by! haven't checked my neighbours in a long time, they were always the same before but I guess my taste has changed somewhat of late. I have to say I did not like Little Dragon's new one at all... hope that I can give it another chance sometime but even when listening through it just once it was a real pain every now and then.

well yeah, thanks a lot, i could only give back the 'props'. (what a nice band name is "nolens volens"!) lullaby for the working class indeed is one of my favourite bands the last months, as are the dirty projectors (new all-over-favourite-band) and six organs of admittance. i'd start with "i never even asked for light", then i'd go for "blanket warm", which is not as good as the other, but just slightly. i haven't heard "songs" myself, so i don't know about it. couldn't find it in record stores here… for all i know, that's been it to their work. any must-hear suggestions for me? oh, and what traditional japanese music would you recommend? since i love it when listening to it in movies, e.g., and because of its for my western ears quite 'modern' impetus, but i don't know any… thanks, take care, c.

Yeah i've seen them many times and i'm a friend of Davide (one of the members).The shows were very good (especially for a shoegaze lover like me,dont know if you understand what i mean ;)).The problem is that untill now i've seen them especially in very little locations,where there are always some technical problems and the result is never what they expect.But they have a lot of talent and ideas and they'll reach soon the right position to play a show without troubles.They deserve it. Nice to know that their name has travelled so far :D

Cool that you liked them. I already ordered them on Amazon. BTW, where do you useally buy those CD's? Isn't it sometime difficult to find them? That's why I often buy at Amazon. And for the Lost Children stuff, take your time. I found them half a year ago and am still not through all of them. But I recommend the compilation Siletn Ballet, Final Light and Loss of a Child. You are damn good. I wasn't that impressed with The new Year, but mabe I have to listen to it a little more though.....since it's your recommendation. But I loved Bedhead. Do you have any tracks of Pedro the Lion? They also have the same taste. And you definitely have to listen to The six parts seven!!! The picture of my grandma was taken years ago by my little sister playing with her. It's actually a cigarette and my sister wanted to make her look like a thug. I think it did work out quite well. But the first time I saw this picture, my reaction was same as yours, like is it a cigarette or lollipopp?
