I know, that's probably why our marriage never worked out :) If you want to fill your boots with folky/atmospheric stuff you could do a lot worse than check out these here blogs. heh, they're good, but i'm grabbed to the folk bands such as eluveitie, equilibrium, finterforst etc... i do like bands like skyclad and subway to sally etc as well though, but odroerir are something different within folk metal again ! i will say that they're better than most shitty folk bands out there though

hmm, how very folky of you ! hmm, i may go - depends on money, because none of those three really grab me, but i will get money in december, so who knows ?! i'll just be waiting on baited breath for two and a half weeks time, where i see Queen on the friday, before going to Heidenfest in Germany on the saturday :D

hmmm otyg are alright.. in my opinion, just one of those many folk / viking metal bands that are just meh... neither outstanding nor bollocks, just plodding along :)

hah, indeed it is ! werird though - that was ripped off the CD, so i obviously just didn't check it ! woops :) aah Otyg... i have their latest album (downloaded), but i forget what it was like - i shall listen to it again tonight ! hmmmm recommendation hey :) well, in terms of power metal - Mob Rules, Wuthering Heights (AWESOME), Machine Men, Mechanical Poet, The Codex, Ark Storm Folk metal - Mago De Oz, Adorned Brood, Devil in the Kitchen, Eisregen... can't think of many more. also worth a mention are this trance influenced melodeath band, Blood Stain Child - they're fantastic ! check out their latest album, Mozaiq

yeah, i have both of battleheart's releases, i'll send them to you either via msn, or by post sometime if you want them :) And I never got round to getting and schandmaul, I must have not liked it when i listened to it or something, because they were at wacken last year as well... but if you have some, you might as well try to cojnvert me :)

i have all of in extremo :p and there's little power metal that i don't know ! at least, i would be surprised if there's any more power metal bands that really stand out, but with folk, i keep on discovering awesome bands !

i don't really like rammstein to be honest - die apocalyptischen reiter's as close as i'd come, really - but i'll check them out nonetheless :)

it's fairly similar to me :) apart from the fetching tache... that's not mine :p new bands, hmmm. eluveitie, tyr, zonata, equilibrium, finsterforst - that'll keep you busy on the viking metal front ;)
