it's all good. kind of excited for that, college bands usually turn out some good stuff. as for me, not really anyone around here (california) who listens to the same music so i'm pretty much out of luck. hopefully one day i'll live on the other side of the country though.

aghhh, i wish i could have gone, sucks living on the west coast. all the cool bands can only afford to tour the east! yeah, i really enjoy fever dreams, the longest mile, and every way acoustic. solid album overall, better than most of the haters say it is :)

speaking of anthony, you liking the new circa album? did you happen to catch any of their acoustic sets or the live stream?

yea i didn't even really notice the "you" thing that's true. i think the record talks about anthony's past a lot. and compendium is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iojg8pNKQt4 it reminds me of explosions kinda. sounds so sick. i heard a clip of the closing song too and it sounded a bit more ambient than rock like these first two singles. and imaginary enemy sounds like it trails into some ambient shit. so i still think we need to wait for the full album to judge it but yea there probably will never be another juturna or even OLG. oh well...change isn't always bad. they seem to be super proud of this shit. it seems like they are coming out of their "experimental" phase and forming a more stable and uniform sound. i know they'll be amazing live.

yea i don't know...for some reason i really like it. it's definitely a completely new sound and direction but it still got circa elements that make them stand out from other bands. i mean it's 4 years since juturna and all the guys are at way different stages of their lives so it was bound to be really different. and i know colin wrote the chorus so that's another reason the structure is so different. and yea anthony's writing style has changed a lot since his last work but he said this was his most personal record yet so the lyrics are more specific and there's less guessing. so overall, i like the new circa but for different reasons than i like the old circa. also, have you heard compendium? its a lot more ambient. also i can't really judge the album off two songs. strange terrain is pretty funky but i kinda like it. reminded me of manchester orchestra for some reason.

It's alright, I wasn't expecting a jewel case with full-blown artwork for you first release, but it definitely looks polished despite it being rushed. There are some flaws which I would have corrected myself such as adding more art to the inside cover, some re-wording of things, and possibly a different photo of you guys, but other than that it's pretty solid. Just so you know, I am going to give you guys some constructive criticism on the album ;) By the way, what exactly is the difference between the original and radio edit of "The Warehouse?"

I really like it! It seems pretty clear to me that you guys drew influences from the likes of This Town Needs Guns, Maps & Atlases, and Cap'N Jazz....unless that's an unfair assumption. Ha, when I saw Rory was credited in the album, I listened until I could find his part, but to be honest, I don't think his voice fit into that track, but it's an interlude so it's no big deal. What other songs did Rory contribute on? By the way, drums on "To Be Frank" are fucking awesome.
