I got my ticket very late so was far back on the balcony, and was worried about sound and view, but in fact the sound was excellent. Next time she comes I want to be near the front though. I was very impressed by her gold leggings.

I did enjoy it; I was very glad she had her band there - I love their very different arrangements. Bells For Her and Precious Things were awe-inspiring. I wish I knew her more recent music better. Would have loved them to play Datura. Did you enjoy it?

Aw sounds nice, where about in the UK you from? where I live there's like no country side around unless you go on a total conquest outside the city :( but my gran lives in the Scottish Borders and that's the only countryside I see :P my weekend was alright, didn't do much though, watched a few movies and relaxed really. What are you studying at Uni? and are you gonna change whatever you're doing in September? am at college just now. It's actually pretty good, I study Modern Studies, English, Maths and Sociology. It's pretty hard going lol. I see you're a Nirvana fan, favourite song? xxxx

Hey, sorry for the late reply. You've seen them twice? :o that's amazing! shame about 2007 though eh, Meg just went of the rails, poor woman. Still, she seems good now though! :) You're right though, the Stripes are amazing at surprising you. Every album is always a bit different as well but I though Icky Thump was their most experimental album and it turned out really well and like yourself, I feel White Blood Cells is really satisfying. My favourite album from the Stripes has to be De Stijl,it's so awesome. How was your weekend? :) xxxx

Cannon huh? unusual choice, but it is a great song :) Red Rain is one my favourites too :) although I do think 'Get Behind Me Satan' Is one of their most disappointing albums. Have you seen them live? and my favourite White Stripes songs? hmm, they would have to be You're Pretty Good Looking (For A Girl), Conquest, Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine, In The Cold, Cold Night, Effect and Cause and of course Blue Orchid. What do you think is the best album from them? :) xxxx
