I am doing fine, trying to make it through the occasional tedium of life as a UMCP math major. Not to mention trying desperately to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with my life after college. Soooo yeah, should be an interesting year. And when I say "interesting", I mean, "sheer panic-inducing". How's life going for you?

Haha, don't worry, I don't hold your response time against you. Yep, I still have three weeks to go as of today. I wish I could go back now, though. Finding things to keep myself busy this summer has not been easy. And you're correct, we don't get out until the second week of June. By then, everyone else is already back and therefore has a head start on all the summer jobs. Kind of a rough trade-off, but I do like it at NU, so I suppose it's worth it.

My laptop hasn't crashed so far, though it also has major startup problems. As for the trimester system, finals do seem to come up rather quickly, but it probably ends up being about the same length as a quarter of high school, which I was already used to. I wouldn't be able to say whether it's more stressful than a semester system having never experienced semesters. And at least public health isn't as much of a slacker major as, say, philosophy.

Ouch, that's rough. Laptops can be so unreliable, can't they? And I am doing fine, just waiting to get back to Northwestern so I can start my first year as a full-time math major. Though I still have to wait another month and a half because our damn trimester system apparently requires us to start school later than everyone else in the country.
