hey, it's going alright. how are things with you?

Pahaha, yeah it's how we get through transfer days: we pick a cheesy band every week and clean the chalet to it, although last night we did all go crazy and party to them on shuffle!! Apparently Five are next on the list to download. Woah congrats on the job! I reckon you'd make a good waiter... how many plates can you carry!? Waiting tables at a fancy harbour makes me think of the OC. I think I'm gonna hunt for a Chinese leg, be all exotic and tan better on one leg. Yeah chaleting/ ski bum life is a pretty awesome trap... already looking into where I'm working next winter. We've got our massive end of season party on Wednesday, starting drinking at midday and probably all coupling off by 6 haha! How's the social scene in NZ? Met any awesome Kiwis?

Ah shit! Running out of money is no fun, but at the same time you only live once and when will you be 23 and in Auckland ever again? Are you heading to Queenstown when the snow starts falling? One of my best friends is heading out there next month so it'll be hilarious if you bump into him and become best friends haha. My knee is still totally screwed but I may be incredibly stupid and try a little ski next week as I've now got one of those insane metal leg braces that makes me look like a robot... my friend has said he'll try piggy-backing me down a run! And then it's back home in two weeks for the major operation, aaaaah!!! But I'm going to head straight back to Tignes in the summer when I can walk again and just live with my best buddie and sunbathe...not thart he knows this yet! I really think I've fallen into the ski bum trap Stu and I'm not getting out anytime soon. What about you? Any big plans? Come visit Tignes next winter... I'll definitely still be here ha x

Ha it might have been! The video made me cry the first time I saw it. Ah I love that Fleetwood song!!! I really really liked Blind Pilot's newest album, although I now associate it with cleaning rooms haha! I especially love Keep You Right! It was so cool as my best friend's sister works in music pr for alternative bands so used to send us cds of all these amazing bands, like have you ever heard of Seeker Lover Keeper? They're incredible, and this song called Even Though I'm a Woman is beyond amazing! Sorry, I'm just recommending loads of songs now ha!

Blimey a house and everything!!!! That's amazing! Most people I know have gone to NZ and loved it so much that they've stayed there...my friend went to travel there in the summer and is now applying for a 3 year visa. Reckon you might be the same :) I'm not going to organise anything till about February haha as can't think of anything past this upcoming winter. Fleetwood are incredible! Listened to them non stop for 6 months and Go Your Own Way became our season song!!! And they're doing a reunion tour next year....definitely go if they tour New Zealand!!! I'm pretty addicted to All I Want by Kodaline...have you heard it? It's beautiful and check out the video

Ah man, I'm sorry to hear that! But I'm the same and it's also a story told time and time again by seasonaires. There's so much of the world to see and it's not going to get seen settling down at home. But, it's nice to know that you'll probably find each other again when you're ready to go back to the UK? Timing's just not right at the moment... For me I can't do that many more seasons as my brain's turning to complete mush...we found it hard stringing sentences together come March and just walked around the kitchen going 'bah bah bah' to each other haha! Ha, guess they are kindred spirits! They're pretty amazing. I don't know what's going to happen in NZ. I've got two friends already out there who've said I can come and stay so closer the time I'll get in touch. But, a lot can happen by then and things'll probably change...don't know who I'll meet this season/ where I'll want to go come April. Will be good to catch up in NZ though...maybe we will have 'found ourselves' by then.

Well the gossip's actually really dull and just that I was incredibly stupid and uh you know with one of the boys who I'd liked all season and then he went home a week early leaving me with the other one who was my best friend but we both realised that there was more than friendship blah blah and we've been speaking all summer and he's going back out this season whereas the other one left to travel the world and was a bit of a poo in retrospect. But at the time we realised we couldn't all go out to nz and share a house together as it would just be too awkward. My bad. But we used to stay up till 4am listening to music watching the snow fall and building blanket dens and it was just amazing and then it became a mess. Ha, anticlimax much!? Gah they better never read this...I may delete it so read it fast. Ok your turn...what's your gossip!?

p.s. when we next meet up (in QT), I imagine you being all wordly and wise and me more immature and only able to dance in ski boots with a jug of beer.

Mix that with family dramas and being broke seasonaires and we were too scared to go haha! But I'm going to plan it properly this time, save this winter, and not rely on anyone. You're joking!!!!!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAT!!!?? I was supposed to move there in May but it all fell through...have my visa but it runs out next year so have to be in the country before Aril 26th... will go straight after ski season. That'll be beyond awesome if we can meet up in NZ...Heading to Queenstown as have friends there but there are Baylis relatives in Auckland...come to Queenstown and we can hit the slopes as it'll be their winter and my friend makes the snow so we'll be sorted!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!
