this is so true. yeah, i have one, but i used it more in the sense of a multimedia blog for my gap year. but i haven't really maintained it at all. i'm more of a facebook guy, so all my social net stuff happens on there. that would be the place to connect. yeah, i got to talk with all of Copeland (minus Aaron, which means i'm missing one autograph on the stuff i had them sign. which is dumb.) for quite a while cuz the second band on the show didn't interest me much. can't even remember who it was now :D but yeah, i never knew about them until they broke up. i kinda grew up with a lot of restrictions on media :/ so yeah, i wish i could've seen Acceptance and Terminal too! they're both amazing. would have to add Jonezetta, The Depreciation Guild, Oceansize, Delirious?, and Sunny Day Real Estate at least.

i just also totally from the most recent 10 tumblr posts (since i'm too busy to read more now aaah) can tell that your tumblr is legit haha. i stopped at the picture of Bryan Laurenson cuz it reminded me of the cool story he told about his guitar when i met him at a States show. since he has a Gibson endorsement (lucky!! although i guess i'd rather have a Fender endorsement myself haha) and needed a guitar on tour, they sent him an Epi hollow-body, which he figured was pretty boring... but it turned out to be a fairly rare model (Riviera, in case you do guitars). did you ever get to see Copeland live? cuz that's one thing i'm forever sad i'm never going to be able to do... that and missing Underoath's final tour :((

yeah, it was a cool story. i dunno, i kinda took the lyrics out of context, but i internalize pretty much every song i ever hear... so yeah :D explains my messy last.fm wall of song lyrics haha. i still need to get my hands on a copy of Broken Hearts Unite... but yeah, F-L is one of my faves.. ok, so i need to think of a band you haven't heard but would love... hmm. should stay away from the T&N roster :D i ok, so how about Snowmine? they've got their LP free on their bandcamp page. great NY indie rock.

ok, yeah, cuz you've only scrobbled 2 plays or something from that. and yeah, they place an immaculate showmanship on top of their amazing musicianship. yeah, they held a contest and i ended up winning it (calmmysoul. tumblr. com/post/24845298108/absence-3-yr-anniversary-story-by-nate-wagner) wasn't switchfoot on the bill, too? i'm so bummed i missed out on that tour... anyway, have you ever checked out Far-Less? they were an old Tooth & Nail Records band from the mid 2000s. amazing tunes. i'd recommend listening thru their last 2 LPs. great songwriting, clever lyrics, and seriously professional drumming.

ah sweet (couldn't tell by the quick creeper job i did on your scrobbles xD). the MM show i caught in NYC on the Odd Soul tour was a highlight of my senior year for sure :D but i couldn't make the last PR NYC show before i left for Germany (21+ venue), which was all the more sad cuz i had plans with Gavin to hang with the band (which is a long story kinda xD). you'll have to tell me about the evening/what they played and such.

sweet taste for sure. the new Paper Route is quite enjoyable. you need to get yourself a copy of MuteMath's self-titled as soon as you can. legendary disc!
