You know, i saw Chicha Libre on New Years, inadvertently. They were interesting, but when they're self-described as latin plus a little surf, I was ready for something dancier...? Barbes is fun. I go there for the 20s / 30s era string bands like The Moonlighters (not the rockabilly band on last.fm) or The Jug Addicts.
