I'm doing alright thank you. I wasnt so much into the opening band apart from the Art of Burning Water who took awhile to get things going and Svalbard who are always amazing and getting better at it every time. The headlight worked a bit better when they started because they only played tiny places where they could ask for all the lights to be turned off which made the show very impressive. Nowadays it doesnt get as crazy at it used to but the sound is also much better than in those early days. Temples might have been the best show I have seen from them aside from the very first one time I discovered them at a squat in Paris called La Miroiterie. This one is legendary.

You were at WITTR at the Fighting Cocks? I was there too, haha. Mainly for the support band though, WITTR were still awesome though.

That WITTR at the fighting cocks was so damn good, bloody warm though! and was a bit of a shame they didn't get time to play a full set but their sound at that show was one of the clearest I've ever heard :D I think mine was seeing Agalloch at the underworld a few years ago, probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen!! In The Shadow of My Pale Companion and Bloodbirds live were just divine. did you make it to that one?? Sorry not had a proper listen yet but will try to do so this weekend! although it's a busy one, going to see Inquisition on saturday :)

Ah thats a real shame you missed Bloodstock, hopefully you can make up for it with the gigs you have lined up then :) I see your into Cult of Luna... might be worth your while checking out Light Bearer who are a newish UK band who play a similar style of epic metal, but don't sound like a copycat like alot of those bands do in that area. So whats the best gig you ever went to?

I'm literally about to buy a ticket for Candlefest :) Also really looking forward to seeing AoP at their headline show in December. Blimey, July was a long time ago, I tend to go nuts if I don't have a steady stream of bands to go see. Ufomammut are one of those bands which I've seen the name of everywhere but never gotten around to checking out, perhaps it's time I should!
