We went to that bar by accident a week ago. We had originally planned to go to that german place down the block... to sample the sausage platter and take in their LIVE jazz on friday nights; but we found the vibe of the place to be lacking. So we hit the road and stumbled upon Trials which was more to our liking. A little bit more young, more kids in hip glasses. I'm in an arabic language immersion program at SJSU. So my life this summer is- all arabic, all the time-- I'm moving to Jordan in a year so I'm really trying to get conversational/confident in my speaking abilities.

i like it here BUT i'm so busy, what with my schooling being from nine to five and six days a week, that i hardly go out and about. That said, my school mates and I have been able to find enough trouble to get into on the weekends; The free park concerts, ark walks, movie nights and various happy hours have kept us in high spirits. It's no san francisco, but it will suffice... I feel like any place is just what you make of it; And we are determined to have a good time and suck this city fucking dry. en sha'allah; i will be back in my home town in three weeks .I miss it. San Francisco is the best city on the west coast, hands down.
