hi thanks for the facebook link. will look you up. keep meaning to set up a profile just not got round to it. i've been busy with work, going away on training courses. also been doing a lot of writing (scripts, monologues etc) and still have lots more to do. why does inspiration never hit you when you need it most!? how's college and life in general going anyway? :D

Michael Owen (who i'm a big fan of) used to play for liverpool! plus i have a shearer shirt a present from a friend who went up to see Newcastle play. big fan of him in his football playing days!! especially with all the injuries he went thru in his career. Chelsea and Mourinho i do dislike i admit. but i like watching ALL football!

do you read History Today? or is that a stupid question - you are studying history after all

did a little of the cold war at uni - enjoyed it - came up when i was studying US history (which i loved). and the choices you make (there was far more flexibilty in my 2nd year) obviously play a part in your personal experience of the subject. as i mentioned i wasn't too well at uni - affected my enjoyment at times so i might not be the best person to comment lol. i did enjoy lots tho' overall :)

both great subjects! lots of reading but you're probably used to that. i like both -a friend of mine swapped from history 2 english. i have to say her course was v good. i like history a lot but it got a bit dry at times ( at uni i was at anyway) but you can always change course whatever you decide to do so you don't end upstuck doing s'thing you don't really enjoy for 3 years :)

what subjects are you studying?

history and a philosophy course. i really enjoyed it but was quite poorly in my 2nd year:( hope to return next year but so much has changed since then i may well choose a different course as the work i've been involved in has been theatre/drama based. and some with counselling and mental health. since being ill my whole perspective on life has changed a lot - in good way tho' :)
