Ok, here's the deal with field day. I've been twice. First time it was sunny, the crowd and people were friendly, and the atmosphere was good, but the organisation of the festival was bad. The sound on all the stages were poor (Victoria Park is a bad location for blaring loud music in a field), the refreshment bars were overpacked and badly serviced. And the toilet queues were ridiculously long. Second year it rained, plus all the previous issues amounted up to a worse experience. So I missed out the last two years...but I doubt it's improved. I only want to go for the tent bands and avoid the main stages.
