I'm really into The Rose Has Teeth in the Mouth of a Beast and Supreme Balloon. I want to check out the bands you've recommended but I've been having computer problems lately and I can't download them (yet). I will download and listen when my computer is back to normal

glad to hear it. those other 3 bands are much more subtle and atmospheric, you really need to concentrate in order to appreciate the intricacy of the music. they're especially good if you'red stoned. i couldn't find any au, but i found both ep's by memory cassette, which were both very lighthearted and enjoyable, although i can't believe that's a dude singing. disco inferno is also good, but less so than memory cassette. its hard to believe i haven't heard of these bands before. if you haven't yet, you should def check out air, el guincho, cut copy, matmos, gang gang dance, and dirty projectors. i can give some more when you're done with those. if you have any more recommendations, please let me know.
