Yeah, I watched all of season 1 on television and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't get that fruit song outta my head! And there was this song about girls all over the world that was so hilarious! I saw them in an episode of the Simpsons the other day, so they must be kindof big in the States. I don't watch all that much television anymore, but the shows I do watch, I absolutely love. I really love Dexter, too much even. I also really want to get into Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I kind of stop/started and never gave much time for me to get into them. Any recommendations? AHH, you are so awesome!! Kanye is INCREDIBLE! Every song on there has it's own sound and is so different from the next! I love it! He's a genius for turning 'Woods' into Lost in the World. And Bon Iver on Monster, WOW. Sorry, I probably went overboard there with all that excitement and whatnot but I can't get enough of it at the moment. I would go see him perform any day of the week!

I never remembered what became of them to be honest. I watched the first season and loved it though. How many seasons were there? How was the 2nd? I was thinking of downloading it the other day. Jermaine's so awesome in it, and I loved the roll call bits with their band manager. I saw an episode of Simpsons with them in it! Yeha, they are semi-big, I mean most people know about it, largely because Jermaine and Bret are kiwis, which is like next-door to Australia. Everywhere takes ages to get to from Australia, and we always have to change flights! It is so darn annoying! Lol, they started showing Top gear on 2 different channels now! It's everywhere! Morning Benders are going to be in Australia on Jan 4th, and none of my friends even listen to em!! Same as Best Coast! haha, very sly, I like that! One more day of procrastination! I wish I got to experience a white Christmas. Usually in Australia we just get stinking hot weather, and at nights you only hear the sound of mozzies and crickets. You guys are so lucky you get to miss out on school due to the snow. We never miss out on school because it's too hot. Never. I was in Tokyo for about 4 days. Yeah it was pretty amazing, I don't get to see so many people at one place, and with all the lights and tall buildings, it's absolutely amazing. Ha, Top Gear is on like every 2nd channel here in Australia! But I don't think I've seen that episode you were talking about :( . Everything about it was surreal, some parts of it look as if it's out of comics, just like neon signs and people dressed in outrageous clothing. There are these scary NIgerians in parts of Tokyo who make me feel on edge, cause they follow you trying to sell their 'stuff' to foreigners. Also it was pretty expensive.But do go, its awesome!!

haha it's okay, I'm hoping that your study is going swell :) . Study comes first, but I hope it hasn't been too stressful for you and that the workloads are manageable. Yeah, I got back couple days ago! It was so awesome! It's definitely a place that you must go to. You would love it, really. The people there are so nice. Like we got lost a few times and asked for directions and they literally go out of their way and take you where you want to go. Their transport system is so efficient, and you actually enjoy taking a train over there, with heated seats and all! The food, awesome. Japan is in every sense of the word beautiful. I took some nice photos as well haha. So, here I am at home watching the Ashes...wishing I could go back to Tokyo. When are your exams? Best of luck with the study, and tell me how you went!

You really should, like just recently I've been listening to a lot of French tapes in the car, and getting my mum to teach me some French. My friend's housemate who is french, has also been helping me here and there. It was so awesome because the other day at work I had to serve some customers who were French and I wished them Good Luck and said Congratulations in French and they said it was very good. It put a smile of my dial :) . Haha, maybe you should learn German then! Oh, I've always wanted to ask, do people outside of Australia find the Australian accent attractive? I've always found it disgusting, bleh, but I've heard differing opinions. My European friends find it very difficult to understand me at times! I haven't travelled enough to really say, but somewhere in Europe would be nice. My friend has always talked up London. Maybe the hustle and bustle of New York? I'm leaving next week! This is insane! I'll keep you posted how it is haha ♥

Oh, you should travel as much as you can, while we're still young. It's scary how time creeps up on you and before you know it, we are out there looking for jobs! Don't mean to scare you like that though haha, so what I'm trying to say, just bloody travel, it's beautiful :) . I have never been to Europe, although I wish to go someday. Also America as well. Haha, imagine me in Japan, not knowing a word besides Sushi and Sayonara haha. I'd love to go to Niagara Falls, it looks so beautiful. My friend went there last week and I saw photos of it, it was unbelievable. I know what you mean, you think Europes the same old. Because you live there, everything's just so familiar. But definitely go to Japan, or Asia, it's so different, and you'll probably love it! You speak French as well, that is very impressive! Any other languages that you speak, that I should know about lol?

Designing stuff is the best bit of architecture. It sounds so awesome! I might consider getting you to design my house one day! haha, yeah you should definitely go, I should be going, everythings booked and all. Whereabouts in Europe? How was Paris? I've heard that people there were snobbish and stuff, and if you don't speak French, they will give you the cold shoulder. I so want to go France as well, it was beautiful wasn't it? Oh Canada, I was going to go there in December, because one of my friends is studying there and he isi giving me a place to stay if I decide to go. I'm still tossing up whether I should go or not? Much to do in Canada? I've been getting the urge to travel recently, before I never really cared much, but there is so much to see in the world, so many cultures to experience. You're lucky you live in Europe though because everything is so clooose!

Haha, some subjects are a downright bore. Could never do politics! I suppose it's one of those things where you'll love it if you're really passionate about it. Yeah, I always wanted to become an Architect, like I loved playing with Lego and building stuff but I found the mathematical side of it a bit too much. Who knows, I might even decide to do it one day. Ha, German is a good language to learn. I was thinking Spanish. I studied that for like a month or so and I got bored and stopped,but I want to kick things back into gear. Yeah, I learnt Japanese back in high school and had japanese penpals and everything. I'm planning on even going Japan end of this year! Crazy ha? Do you do much travelling about? I wish I was in England, because I could just travel around Europe and come back! haha, it's like you want to keep that band all to yourself, and it's that adventure where you discovered the band, and once they become successful you find a new band ya know?

I was going to ask, what are you planning on doing after your A-levels? Hopefully not too much of the stuff I'm doing haha.

At least you can take some enjoyment out of it if you are listening to music while writing an essay of some sort. I know it's hard, but all that studying will pay off eventually! I'm studying commerce/liberal studies, which put simply I do all that yucky, stuff with the share markets etc.. and also I have the possibility of studying a language and learning more about the world. The work is painful, only because you spend the rest of the time partying and its always the last minute cram. And final exams are a total bitch! Haha, it took me a while to like Bon Iver a lot. Yeah! I used to listen to Flobot heaps. Used to sing Handlebars randomly during the day! Yeah, just lately I've been listening to heaps of Drake because his lines/rhymes are so clever. Also, contrary to belief but his RnB stuff is actually really goood! The worst thing about listening to bands your friends dont listen to is that when there is a gig, there is no one to go with you! That's the worst!

Is A-levels the final bit of schooling before you go onto uni or something? Sounds hard : / but good luck :) . Yeah, I go to uni. It is not what it is all crack up to be, but you will still enjoy it. Haha, that is the best version! I love it! The music vid is pretty awesome as well! Yeah, I love Bon Iver. Creature fear and Skinny love are my favs. I love how you can enjoy Kanye and then Bon Iver, that is so awesome! Awww shucks, thanks alot, I think you have very exquisite taste in music, but also I think your friends help shape your music taste and through each others tastes it moulds our own. So, you've also got friends with amazing taste in music!

Do you like Cee-Lo green's new one? Yeah, I used to like Miike Snow. I think you will like it. It's sorta like vampire weekend. Animal is a good song. I was amazed when I heard Kanye's leaked song, Lost In The World and how beautifully it sampled Bon Iver. I thought you finished school for some reason. Study HARD♥!

whoa sorry for the late reply, I've had so many essays to do that I've had to time to do anything! Phoenix is coming to Australia in early next year,don't know if I should go though. Cee-lo green, janelle monae, miike snow and friendly fires are all coming as well. Would you go to that line-up? Oh Morning Benders played a cover of a Paul McCartney song, I think? I remember it was pretty good lol.

Haha that sounds craaazy! I'm not sure who I would want headlining. Lately, I've been in this hip hop phase. But I'd love to see Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and probably Passion Pit. I used to listen to them all the time! I have been listening to Best Coast and Wavves recently and I really like them both. Oh and Morning Benders somewhere there, probably dirty projectors as well! HAHA ask me one month later and I'll give you a totally different answer. I am terrible at this. You would like to have Weezer and No doubt right? BINGO. I just spent today watching the VMA's and amazed by every performance. Like literally every performance. All brilliant.

Don't doubt No Doubt heading again! lastfm would never listen to me :(. Bands only playing new songs is terrible because you can never sing-a-long! Yeah, that's like Splendour, how you had to camp for 4 days, well most people lived in like little caravans. So do they actually play music like 24/7? Lol, course they wouldn't, I wonder what people do when there are no bands showing and stuff. Yeah, yeah I would really love to do but I remember Splendour was really expensive which was why I didn't end up going. Were there like toilets and stuff? LOL, had to ask haha.

There's this festival in Australia which is similar, splendour in the grass, and the lineup was absolutely incredible. It was on for like 3 or 4 days and they had so many bands there including passion pit, florence and the machine, mumford & sons, the strokes, it was huuuuuuge! you're lucky you didn't get the flu there! haha they could have like a lastfm and a different city every year? and broadcasted on youtube? i dunno lol

It wasn't that Reading Festival was it?! Ha! Only because I read that Phoenix were playing there. Lisztomania is awesome. I like all their songs on that album. I was this Phoenix phase one time where for a month I would only listen to Phoenix, on repeat. Too bad I never used lastfm then because I have nothing to show for it :(. What other bands did you get to see? Must have been an awesome festival! So jealous lol. Well, that's like my friends where are music tastes are so varied and different we can never go see the same acts. Such a shame. I gotta start making friends who have good taste in music! Yeah, going to a festival with lastfm users would be the bomb! I think lastfm has got to do something about that!

oooh ska. Funky! Haha, you're like me. Like I go through so many different phases it's crazy! Like there are days when all I listen to is hip-hop but other times I listen to like just random stuff like best coast phoenix passion pit etc... It depends what mood you are really in though. One thing I've noticed is that people from Britain are really attuned to good music. Somedays I wish I was living over there.

Oh man sold out! Yeah they were really great. I recall California English as being especially good. Ezra was pretty funny as well. I had a lot of fun that night. You gotta see em live! Yeah I wish I had discovered this whole 'scene' earlier. Haha, my friends don't really appreciate the music I listen to. And a lot of the times I introduce them to a song and they just end up giving me the cold shoulder. But like 6 months later they hear it on a radio station and want to introduce that same song to me! Ooooh what other bands do you love?

haha I was just reading what conuttwo84 had said about She and Him. Sentimental Heart! I had that on repeat for like a week! Ooooh Excuses Live! It is great! I saw that! I don't really have the time to go to gigs. I wish I had gone to a lot more when I was younger but I never fully appreciated live music till recently. The last one I had gone to was I think Vampire Weekend. And that was awhile ago! Yeah winter, the dreariest of all the seasons in Australia. We don't get snow or nothing! I'd much rather be in the UK than here at the moment.
