Thanks for that little musing there. I enjoyed it. It doesn't surprise me that the Central Scrutinizer's lines were practically made up on the spot because Zappa does break character as the Scrutinizer a few times (not that diminishes the album in any way though). Joe's Garage is definitely my favorite by Zappa, even though Acts II and III aren't nearly as strong or as engaging as Act I. Don Shewey of Rolling Stone calls it Zappa's Apocalypse Now, which sums it up perfectly because both are timeless works, despite some of its failures and inconsistencies and the environment surrounding the making. I am probably not going to be taking part in Zappadan this year. Sorry :( But I will take part sooner or later, I just don't have time right now since I usually get wound up during Finals and I usually don't do anything BUT study. Speaking of people who quit Uncyclopedia, I keep on being begged on Facebook by Mattsnow to come back to Uncyclopedia and I'm starting to think coming back isn't too much of a bad idea. I think (actually I know) I overreacted when I said I was going to quit forever. In retrospect, all I really needed was a little break to sort things out. I'm not going to be a regular user, but I think I might stop by every now and then. I am planning on perhaps on visiting during my three weeks off in December. Try not to spill this to anybody on the main site, but I thought this might be of interest to you.

That's the spirit. Me myself, I'll have a little trouble with keeping up during the first week of Zappadan since I have finals that week (I haven't taken them yet but given the depths of my classes college finals are going to be a little harder than high school finals), but after that, I'm good to go. Ironically when I need obscure music on the go, I just dig through your library and find some artist with an interesting-sounding name and see if I can find it on Spotify (I don't have a cool hard drive like you). To let you know, personally I think Dylan's greatest album was Blood on the Tracks. With lyrical gems like "Idiot Wind," "Tangled up in Blue" and "Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts," it's one of those albums that just gets you on repeated listens. Just in case you needed some guidance.

RAHB, a little question: What's the most Hawkwind you've listened to in one week? This week, I listened to 122 Hawkwind tracks (congratulate me if that's more than you've got in one week). And I'm planning on listening to a little more before Sunday. Also, this isn't as impressive but I've listened to 39 Ozrics tracks so far this week. I know I've thanked you before for introducing me to Hawkwind, but thank you again. Hawkwind is one of those greats in the music world that will never get the appreciation it deserves. Plus, thank you for introducing me to Ozric Tentacles. They've become another bright spot in my life. (If you could give me a little back story as to how you discovered Ozrics, that would really be worthwhile.) I see you've been listening to Björk lately. If you don't know, Iceland was named as the happiest country in the world in a recent survey, and I believe Björk's music is one of the reason why. Another reason I believe is that new group Of Monsters and Men. Have you ever listened to Björk's work with Sugarcubes? I find their song "Birthday" to be one of the most joyous-sounding songs you'll ever hear.
