I LOOOOOOVE Noah and the Whale! Been really into them since I first heard Five Years Time in 2008 or whatever it was, and just continue to love everything they do. I remember getting massively excited reading a positive review about their second album in a French magazine when I was in Paris in 2009; they make me feel all fangirly like that :)

Hiya, thanks for reading that, I tend to write assuming no one out there's reading, so it's nice to hear some feedback. I would say don't just take my word for it on politics, there are always people with other opinions although obvious they don't have as many persuasive pictures as I have. ;) I'm torn on the new Klaxons. There's some really brilliant stuff on there, but bits drag. Agree that the singles off the first are all still sounding great, and as far as I recall they all had great videos too. Manics soon!

Oh, I just mean I find its reinvention ugly and unintuitive, despite probably striving to be 'user-friendly'. It's no big deal, just a free site that I used to advocate and now simply have an account on.

Hah, it's been set like that for two years now, and I don't much remember but feel I shouldn't give in. :P I hardly use last.fm, it's just a program that gets left running and a place to make an occasional observation. I think last.fm compromised its potential of being an excellent domain for discussion and expanding musical horizons when it went all Social Networky. That feature isn't Social Networky but I just don't much like it. *hypnotised by Brooker*

I don't see it gettig to number one. After a few listens i'm giving it at least a 7. Postcards is my fave song so far.

That one last shot at comunication hit 28 in the singles chart. Even the two singles from Lifeblood got to number two.
