It seems that they've changed the rules a little bit - you can only listen to the same song like 3 times before it becomes unavailable to you (unless you have a subscription). There are other little benefits, but I can't remember what exactly they are. They were bullet pointed when I signed up.

I just paid for a subscription to the site. It was $3 a month. It's partially unnecessary, but after all the music I've been introduced to through the site....If nothing else I owed it.
