Hello. I see that you live in Denmark. I always wanted to know Danish. Never had time or desire. You see, there is a difference between learning and knowing something. Learning is a long process and I get bored easily. I thought I'd leave a message, because I like your "about me" ;)

You mean on holiday you tend to want to eat people's brains out? ;) :P. Haha that camp sounds fun, I'm pretty nerdy myself but that really came at university. I hated high school. Don't know how you can look forward to school :P. University was a bit different for me though :D.

haha they did the same intimate gig thing in London too but couldn't get tickets. Sold out really fast. Yeah I've seem live and was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. It's probably tied with the time I saw Between the Buried and Me play colors all the way through live. Both those gigs were amazing to say the least. Will definitely be worth all your money :). I'm seeing them again in November too, though my tickets still haven't turned up yet :/.

I love TWFM, it's actually my favourite release now by them amazingly. I never thought Boxer would ever be replaced for me. I personally prefer their albums from Boxer onwards but I kinda get what u mean. I do really like that aspect of Alligator for example. You ever got to see the National live?

hey! you seem to have pretty great music taste yourself! i see loads of elliott smith on your charts, that's always great to see...thanks =]..well i've had that name for about 6 years now...i made it up when i was talking to my sister one day..she was in my parents room using their computer and i was in our living room using ours..we were in IM chat and she kept calling me loser over and over in a playful mannor...and while she did this i was listening to damien rice's song delicate..so i meshed the two and voilà! delicateloser came to be haha...i like to write a lot, but i usually don't let people in on my work, or at least close friends, i become too self conscious of it..everything i've written has been written to please me and no one else really..dont read as much as i should..do you read/write a lot?...haha and don't worry about your rambling on, it's nice to talk to peple and find out more about them sometimes...thanks for the shout!..hope you have a great day as well! =]

I find it is difficult to decide which song is my favourite, that's good album... I like Morning Mr Magpie, Codex and Bloom because of the intro. I didn't expect such album from this band. If I can say sth more, it's hard to expect anything, but I love it. Some people think that Radiohead always do great piece of work. I share your opinion about favourite albums. 'The Kings of limbs' is the continuation of new sounds from 'the Eraser' and a little bit form 'in Rainbows'. Maybe it is about evaluation, finding sth more exciting, fresh inspirations? Lotus Flower... The song is good, bot video... I totally don't know why Thom decided to prepare it in such controversial way. I was completely surprised... better word is disappointed... He look like hipster or smart&elegant famous star... I don't know what exactly he want to show others... It doesn't appeal to me...

I saw that you wrote something about Denmark on your profile some time ago. Do you talked to your father about your friends from other countries or something like that? I thought that when read what you wrote. If not, I think it would be good for you. I think we know ourselves better when we know something about the others; we know our language after learning some others and we know our country when we have informations about other countries. I was talking about Nordic folk like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTHaT36xJFU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWY6GMYgGjI http://www.youtube.com/watch? But I liked your recommendations, thank you! I don't even bought the flute, I am very busy studying and thinking about the novel right now. I am very glad that you are ok and I am fine too, just in peace with everything. Nice to talk to you again! Farvel!

My favorite album is about suicide from a friend of Mars Volta members as well, but is not a sad album, is just imagination. As you know, progressive rock and punk are complete opposites, this album is the only one that is some sort of progressive punk. In the world of music, they did something like freezing fire and were acclaimed for this. As I said, I know that is not your style, but I would like you to listen. The video are two songs, the first is him in the ambulance. The keyboards simulate the buzzers and the beats, the defibrillator used on his chest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cdSiAgz1XU

Oh yes, I figured it was just a nickname. Hmm, Bob Dylan-esque? Sounds good to me! I love the excitement when walking into an independent music store for the first time. I know what you mean about having to limit yourself. Do you remember where, or what the name of the store was? When I finally get around to visiting Europe, I’ll be traipsing the cities/towns in search of good music. At least, that’s my dream. XD Well, you’ve given me a wonderful description of your ‘The Rumour Said Fire’ band so I will no doubt look into it once I’ve finished my studies for this semester, which is about a week. Many thanks for the recommendation. Haha, you don’t like Eurovision? I can understand that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and maybe something more for the old-timers? But I happen to love it. I AM an outsider though, so perhaps that’s why? Anyway, I wasn’t a fan of the Denmark entry though but hopefully you never have to hear it. XD

Itsi-Bitsi… Greetings from the underground, or down under. :] It’s delightful to see the Middle East getting such wide exposure. Randomly coming across it in a music store in Germany, huh? Sounds like a quaint dream. I’m sorry to say I know very little about their movements at this point in time although am thoroughly awaiting their debut. Hopefully this year? Aww, I’ve been listening to Sigur Ros/Jonsi and The National/Frightened Rabbit a lot recently. Similar music kind of coincides. And in terms of Damien, well I haven’t listened to him thoroughly in many years. He used to be my favourite for a loooong time, but I’m listening to Lisa Hannigan – his long-time sidekick – much more these days. So, what kind of local acts do you like from Denmark? Hopefully nothing like your Eurovision entry. :P

Hahaha! I like you Mathilde. :) You can call me up for talking about whatever you want. I wasn't feeling insulted, just wondering if there's anything in my personality that lead you to think that. About The Mars Volta: I even had any favorite album before getting into their music. So, yes, is my favorite album among all others and I don't think this could change easily. That album is very unique, I think it's not your style, is very crazy and frenetic. But as it is unique, you should get to know it, indeed.

I relistened to the original Meaning Of The Ritual and i kinda understand what you mean about the lost charm although i do also like the strings on the new version. I guess i'm just happy that we have two versions now. But i do not like the howling at all on the new Pieces, it distracts from the song i think. Off course i'm happy with your opinion, there wouldn't be much of a discussion if everybody thinks the same ;). How was Berlin? I was there two years ago and I found it a fascinating city with a lot of history. Did you visit Checkpoint Charlie? Sections of the Berlin Wall are still there. The Egyptian museum was also wonderful. The National album is probably my favorite album of the year so far. My favorite tracks are Afraid Of Everyone and Bloodbuzz Ohio. I'm probably also going to see them at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium in August. Roskilde looks nice this year: Patti Smith, Kings Of Convenience, Beach House etc. Hopefully you can go there next year then.
