a TV show that I really, really like is The Wire, but it's pretty complex and it might not be for everyone. it's set in Baltimore and it has 5 seasons, each season focusing on an institution of the city. season 1: police and drug trade; season 2: labor union (workers); season 3: city government (politics); season 4: school system; season 5: newspaper (media). it's only one story, so the show is about how all of these institutions are connected through a web of corruption. as I said before, it's not for everyone - the first episodes especially are a little bit hard to understand but once you get the rhythm and heart of the show, it's VERY rewarding. I'd say it's one of the best sociological studies ever put in television, film or any other art form.

I'm guessing you would like the album Loveless by a band called My Bloody Valentine. they are noisy but at the same time they are influenced by the more ethereal sounds of the eighties. it's my favorite album.

Hello, sorry for not shouting back at you before, I must have been in a bad mood. Interesting library as well, though you listen to way more pop/rock than I do, I've spotted some of my favourite artists. These days I'm looking for pop songs that sound like my favourite ones from Lana Del Rey (Summertime Sadness and Once Upon a Dream), do you know any? It has to sound grand, cinematic, hopelessly romantic. Let me know if I can recommend you stuff.
