Ahhh sorry for the delay — so I have a few avenues. this site gives p. decent recs, album pages will give you others in the same "scene", and you can strain it by refreshing and going to the suggested pages and noting what doesn't pop up on the original. cool rabbit holes to be found there. I do a lotta bandcamp digging, but the time/quality ratio there can be pretty ehhh, so if you don't have the patience it's prolly not worth spending a ton of time doing that lol. overall most effectual for me is RYM I think — I like to manipulate the charts in really specific ways: weird genre combinations, unconventional descriptors, compilations only, etc; the sorting features there are really powerful! their suggestion system is good as well, and I've got a lil network on there, mutuals who have largely different tastes that I can count on for music in specific styles, ppl with nice charts to stalk, yknow....... as far as publications go, tinymixtapes is (was ;_;) the best imo. unbelievable amoun
