A few weeks ago I only knew a couple of songs by them that I'd heard on the radio. Then I heard Arc in its entirety on John Kennedy's album playback on Xfm and I was blown away. What a revelation! Since then I have listened - practically non-stop - to both their albums. I prefer Arc, but there are a few amazing songs on Man Alive (Come Alive Diana for example). I love how creative they are with their music. Lucky you, you're going to see them! I tried to buy tickets for their London gig but it's sold out. I have applied to be part of the audience for a show they're doing for BBC 6 music next month. Fingers crossed!

Well I dont think my break from gigs lasted long becuase I am going to gallows w// rollow tommasi next sunday lol I was waiting for the big pink to play dominos so I was relieved when they played it last XD I wish I can find someone to go to the automatic with and I see you are seeing 30 seconds to mars (not good lol)

Didnt go due to money issues plus it woudnt have been quite the same as last time especially meeting tom meighan before the gig which was my highlight of 2009. I actually am takin a break from gigs for now untill next month! I do wish more gigs would be announced soon especially underground bands! I do defenitly still intend to build up my list of bands I have seen live. I was actually happily suprised at the big pink coz dominos is still stuck in my head! 2009 has been an amazing year of concerts and had soo much fun at them all so the horrors next month would be a great way to end it for me XD happy gigging!!!

No I didnt :( never the less june 29th 2009 was one of the best days of my life and best gig i have ever been to :)

Yeah the gig was awesome! Was my first editors gig...loved racing rats and the crowd went wild for smokers outside the hospital doors. The drums in that song sound amazing live, haha. And it was flashy light extravaganza most of the time. I like the new songs esp You don't know love is very good live and ur right with papillon! :) Where did u see them live?

Hey! the new album is growing on me too, didn't think too much of it on the first listen coz of the new electronic sounds are not very editorish but its definately different and pretty retro. I'm seeing them live today! And am pretty excited to hear the new songs live. I love bricks and mortar and papillon. You got any faves so far? :)

Hey Gary! I am aware of the big pink and to be honest I am pretty dissapointed that they are supporting muse. It would have been good if it was biffy clyro instead. The resistance is a respectable album in my opinion and there are a few tracks like undisclosed desires and guiding light which do the trick for me but I dislike the lack of guitaring in the album. Absolution still remains my fave one

yeah I was gonna get Editors sheffield tickets too but found out could only make the london show...and thats where uni is so would be easier. And i think the new album should be good too but I have heard lots of negatives like there will be no guitars and it is terminator-ish! Am very much looking forward to new muse album tho, do u know the release date?

cool, I was going to see Air traffic with a friend this year but had to pull out due to uni exams...really gutted I did! My friend also saw IAMX this year too cos she is such an obsessed fan and I couldn't join her on that either. Your year looks pretty good with all those gigs. I guess I am not that sad, seeing Editors (one of my fave bands ) in October and kasabian twice this year so that will make up for it! :)

I haven't seen many bands but REALLY want to see muse! I know they are pretty great live... so lucky u! The next album should be massive considering it took so long for it to come. So yeah the bands I've seen are lightspeed champion, the academy is, plain white t's, pete & the pirates, all american rejects, white lies, keane, red light company, absent elk, the script and bloc party. I haven't seen most of my favorite bands yet e.g. sigur ros, editors and interpol and that really saddens me. Which bands u seen live?

Never seen muse live before, only on dvds and even then they seem pretty amazing.

Yh it was great! Nah i didnt get a drumstick, ive had drumsticks from The Wombats and plecs from various other bands though :D I had the stripey cardigan/jacket on if that helps :P
