Last.fm doesn't notify me of anything anymore; this site is basically RIP in my eyes lol but my scrobblers are still connected so yeah. It really doesn't seem like a single person outside of Japan has a copy of that cassette, which is amazing to me. A What.cd user said that a Japanese fan posted a pic of the cassette on Instagram next to a CD-R he copied of it and isn't responding to any comments. It is what it is. :/ Anyway, I guess I'm hanging in there. I hope to see you at some next year then!

How's the new Swans album?

Yeah I think he just wanted to use Song for a Warrior somewhere, but honestly if he had cut it I wouldn't have minded too much. None of the songs were OFFENSIVE so it all ends up okay. I just love the sounds in Mother, the progression from the crunchy beginning to that lovely piano/mandolin ending sends shivers down my spine. All said and done. I rate it above Great Annihilator (and that's not faint praise), in the top 10 of his albums easy, though Soundtracks, New Mother, Swans are Dead, etc. are still untoppled.

My choice numbers as of this second are Mother of the World, The Seer, and Avatar. The only numbers I'm not crazy about are Daughter and Song for a Warrior, though, the rest is gravy. I see what you mean about Lunacy, I think it starts off MUCH stronger than it ends, but it's not too bad of a song either way.

Yeah, I'm now under the impression that the whole second disc is jaw-dropping. I have a little more respect for The Wolf now too, how it transitions into The Seer.

The Seer is long as hell. But is so amazing :D
