Hey, not been on much recently haha, yeah, I've been alright, started working in Asda for what I thought was part time, but it seems to be all I do haha. Still it's over £6 an hour so that's not that bad. What have you been up to? More shows?

Hey, long time no speak! Been listening to Lil B a bit more, I really like his wackier stuff like Wonton Soup, do you know which album I'd download based on that? If you haven't heard John Maus's new album I'd definitely give that a bash, probably my second favourite album of the year so far after SebastiAn's album. How's Grimation getting on? I've noticed your tendency to use the word "swag" on facebook lol :P

Listened to "I'm Gay", it was alright, I still think in terms of Hip Hop POS has been the best thing you've recommended me. I think most people have already decided whether they liked "I'm Gay" before hearing it based (no pun intended) on their opinion of Lil B himself to be honest haha

Ahh so it actually is called "I'm Gay", I wasn't sure if that was a Mediafire troll trying to annoy/confuse people, meh, political correctness has no place in music in my opinion, it kind of has a function when it isn't abused, and I certainly don't trust people when they talk about "it's political correctness gone mad" but yeah haha. Yeah Boris/Sunn O)))'s collaboration is amazing, it kinda takes the edge off Sunn O)) while still retaining the experimentation of both sides, and the fact that Sunn O))) and Wata are probably my three favourite guitarists of all time helps.... I do judge you slightly though for not being into Sunn O))); Wonton Soup is more fucked up than anything they have ever done lmao (in a good way (I think haha))
Aktionen

Yeah Sunn O))) definitely isn't everybody's cup o' witches brew haha, I love them but I can totally see why people wouldn't, the collab they did with Boris is terrific, I'd recommend that even if you don't like Sunn O))), the Sinking Belle (Blue Sheep) is an amazing song it reminds me of Twin Peaks haha. Yeah I've heard quite a lot of people hate the Lil B album, I'll have to listen to it, it;s been ages since I've listened to a controversial album haha

Cool, I might try Fruityloops, I've been recommended a few different softwares now so I've got a few to pick from. I've heard good things about it. Yeah Glasgow is good for live music, not been to a gig in donks though, it's finding people to go with really and there's only a few bands that I'm so into I'd go by myself, Sunn O)) for instance. Yeah that was my first time hearing Ordo Rosarious Equilibrio as well and it was pretty cool. Cool, I'll download that as well, I downloaded Lil B's album, but I think recently I've been in a more doom n' gloom mood (musically, I mean haha) so I'll listen to that when I come out of it. All the hip hop you've recommended to me has been brilliant so I'm sure I'll love it

I've only been to Ediburgh like twice and that was as a glorified tourist so I only saw like Morningside etc but I've been told some bits are rough as hell, yeah even I find some Scottish accents scary, I think a Mancunian accent is the scariest in Britain though (porbably because a few of my cousins have this crazy Glaswegian/Mancunian hybrid accent which is as rough and ugly as it sounds haha). Yeah my charts are in desperate need of hip-hop I think Salem is the only hip-hop with vocals in my charts (if they even count as hip hop) I'll give that a listen. Yeah Xiu Xiu are like really influenced by Scott Walker so I'm sure they'd jump at the chance if it was presented, Walker just needs to stop being such a recluse haha. Yeah I'd love to be in a band but none of my friends share my tastes like even remotely I've considered getting some decent software and trying to make my own, but I have no idea where to start haha.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xan2xU-ZFic&feature=related This is somewhat similar to the area I live in haha, it's funny/depressing and frightening all at the same time :/ I listen to Scott Walker, but I tend not to listen to him while I'm on a Xiu Xiu binge, I think I can only take so much "fucked up" at once, I think if Jamie Stewart and Scott Walker met, some gateway to hell would be opened haha. I've not seen the doc yet, I think I might watch it soon. I don't think it's twatty not to be nervous haha, I wish I had the guts to make/perform music haha. I think I saw "The Tallest Man on Earth" on Jools Holland, but I never bothered looking him up again, I'll get on that. Have you heard Salem? If not I recommend listening to their recorded stuff, but don't watch any live performances, they blow live haha.

Yeah I saw Xiu Xiu in quite a few people's charts, but was put off by the indie rock tag a lot of people give them (how anyone can think they're indie rock is beyond me) but I finally decided to give them a listen and it was pretty much all I listened to when I didn't have the internet, I've bought Fabulous Muscles and Dear God... but my shitty laptop doesn't have a CD Drive haha. That's awesome about Budapest, you nervous at all? Yeah my housing is finally sorted, I had a flat in the city centre which was awesome but the council moved me to some estate in the middle of Smackville haha, it's not all that bad really, it's just very errr "Glaswegian" haha. I finally decided to cave in and listen to Witch House, I hate myself for it but some of it is actually really good haha

Hey, started using this again after months of inactivity so I had to reset my charts, kinda bummed but those Panic At The Disco plays O had buried away'll never see the light of day at least. Watched your video for Bitterseetheartattacks a while ago, which I thought was brilliant, how's Great Imitation getting on anyway?

Hey, since you're a friend and a hip hop listener, I thought you might check out my latest release, you can download it from www.officialstandard.bandcamp.com for free. It would be cool to get a few more scrobbles on last.fm! Your opinion would also be awesome... Much love

Yeah, things really are looking up, I got to keep my cat and everything! Mass Effect 2 is amazing, definately one of my favourite games for the 360, I love being a dickhead in it, Renegade Shepard is so much wittier than Paragon Shepard. I'm doing an NC in Digitsl Media Computing with games, it's quite good so far. That's great about that competition, much deserved. Let me know how it goes!

It's already getting better, they've found us a flat, so I'll be outta there, and I've had my induction for a college course today so things are going quite well. I am developing withdrawl symptoms from lack of internets haha. Yeah Dead Rising is pretty tough the problem ios that the save points are few and far between and the AI for the other survivor is bollocks, but I still love the game haha. How has life been treating you? Not "homelessey" I hope (which is a real adjective and not one I just made up, I promise.)

I'm a nerd so I can complete video games really quickly. Dead Rising is more or less impossible, I did manage to complete it eventually but it was murder haha. Stewart Lee is awsome. Internet issues are the least of my problems at the moment, I've been made homeless lmao I'm living in a shitty "B&B" which is PC for place they send junkies et cetera too, it's been wonderful....

The first 3 tracks are well, wank to put it straight. It just seems to me he's trying to hard to put out something that everyone will like ie: make more money, more fame more play time on radio etc. Where as the tracks Jungle (my fave off the album) and Monster are good, the rest just seem to fill in the gaps really. And i agree he has lost his flow somewhat since his days rap battling @ the jumpoff and the more grime type. Still, will probably prove to become a guilty pleasure of mine. :/ heh

Hi, I'm not ignoring you because you are a DC fan (although I'm considering it lol) my internet's been cut so I can only get on occasionally now. Played Bioshock and thought it was amazing, saw the twist coming from a mile off but that's probably only because I'm familliar with Ayn Rand's work. I'm nopt fond of American comedians in general, I love Australian, Canadians and English comedians, I think my favourites are Brendon Burns and Eddie Izzard, I must be the only person in Glasgow that can't fucking stand Frankie Boyle, do you watch Mock The Week?

Oblivion is definitely worth a purchase, I have without hyperbole, put 1500+ hours into that game, it ruins more lives than heroine, as a nerd I should hate it as it single-handedly turned western RPGs into a casual-fest, but as a human I recommend it as the best game on the Xbox360. Must try this Beautiful Katamari, sounds.... er kooky haha. A game series I would full-heartedly recommend is the Silent Hill series, it will change the way you look at mannequins, toilets and even your front door it's so terrifying, and even if it's not your thing, the soundtracks stand up on their own (my most played artist on here is the guy that composes the music for Silent Hill, I wasn't kidding about being a nerd haha). I don't listen to a great amount of folk, all I really know is Scottish folk from when I was a kid, and Runrig as Loch Lomond is played at the end of every party I've ever been to lmao. I'll have to check out Ani Defranco, I've been meaning to get into folk for a while

I actually haven't listened to Thursday that much, I saw them once when they supported My Chemical Romance (I was 14 at the time lol) and they were really good, but I've just never gotten round to listening to them, I suppose I should get on that haha. What other games for the Xbox do you like? I'm sure you have a grand taste in vidya

That's perfectly alright, I've heard good things about Bioshock, I've been meaning to get it for ages but something else always comes out first. I like kind of nerdy games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Origins, I was addicted to Tekken 6 until my XBL subscription ran out, it was probably for the best though, I think my blood pressure has dropped significantly since then haha. I don't like a lot of American comedy, I quite like the Big Bang Theory, Frasier is my favourite American sitcom though, it's surprisingly quotable lol. I think I OD'd on Will Ferrell after Anchorman, I'll have to look up his Dubya impression though, I love a good Dubya impression lol. Oh, I downloaded Never Better by P.O.S. and I am addicted, truly.

I haven't heard his "Sings Jaques Briel" album yet, I feel I've neglected his older stuff somewhat, I'll definitely need to hear all of it though it's safe to say I've become a bit of a fanboy haha. I am a Xbro indeed, the weather's been too hot to play recently though it's like a fucking radiator! I love comedy, I've not been to any shows in a while though, I think Ross Noble was the last one I saw who is amazing. I'm not as much of a reader as I used to be though, I've been reading Muo's Traveling Couch which I'm not really enjoying but I feel I have to get through it. I can't believe I'm talking about something other than music haha

Samples always bug me, I spent ages trying to work out where the strings in "Archangel" where from before, then looked it up and found they were on the intro video for Metal Gear Solid 2, Iol. Glad you like CTTS, a lot of people hate them because they don't take themselves seriously enough or what have you. I'd love to have The Drift on a physical medium, I can imagine opening the case and these horrific things like donkeys and Donald Duck escaping. I actually haven't seen the doc yet, I've been meaning to but I've just not gotten round to it. I wish I was going on holiday haha, where are you off to?

Listened to Purexed, was bloody good, I recognise the piece of music the beggining and it's bugging me, is it a sample from something? That is quite a list I haven't actually heard of any of them so I'll have enough to keep me entertained haha. Oh, listened to that Cardopusher track as well and didn't realise how accessible and fun breakcore could be, it was very different from how I was expecting it. I feel I'll have to recommend you something fun as well as opposed to something willfully weird lol

lol I feel like I'm in philosophy again with all of this doubt of your existence haha. I'm usually lazy when it comes to films as well I honestly watch like one film every 3 months but Eraserhead is a movie I think everyone should watch at least once, it's true horror, none of this gore=scary nonsense. Nah, I've never heard of P.O.S, I'm beginning to realise how ignorant of hip hop I really am haha, if anyone ever asks me to name the top ten albums where people bang sheets of metal off each other though I'll look so cultured

I didn't sleep for two nights after listening to Hamburger lady with the backstory in my mind. Mind you I did watch Eraserhead that night and I was on my own, I'm not a complete wuss. I think I did get that link but I think that was shortly after you sent me that Doomtree link and I still wasn't entirely sure you weren't a spambot from freemp3.com or whatever it was called lmao, I'll look that up now lol. I'm honoured haha, I actually have listened to GI more but my ipod is being a lazy bastard when it comes to scrobbling

Insane Clown Posse? Dearie me haha, although I must say, if Miracles is ironic they are geniuses (I'm choosing to believe it is) idk an aversion to the tastes of the average Glaswegian teenager, not really going out and spending most of my time on music-related sites is probably why I have such a varied taste, I'm not nearly as cool as I like to think I am haha. CTTS are amazing, they are probably my favourite discovery on this site. For Throbbing Gristle I would rec D.O.A The Third and Final Report, but don't listen to Hamburger Lady at night and for God's sake don't look up the story behind it unless you are a maniac (I feel guilty for recommending The Drift without telling you just how scary it was haha). I'll need to listen ot the rest of the tracks on your facebook page, I'm really enjoying your music, good show.

Yes, it's a very snobby thing to say, but it's 100% true haha, CTTS stands for Circle Takes The Square whose album As The Roots Undo I would recommend to anyone who likes older screamo. I've only heard of Thursday out of those bands, I'm loving these recommendations haha. I thin I'll need to listen to Untrue a few more times to get it fully, it wasn't at all what I was expecting it to be though, it was a lot richer than other dubstep I've heard so that's always good. I only had time to listen to Starcrossed Lovers before heading out but it was awesome, I thin Real Men Hit Things is my favourite overall though
