not really, you could just restore your account and reupload. i thought you figured your music wasn't good enough to be shared, which IMO isn't true; i enjoyed the several songs i heard, some even winding up in my favorites, and am disappointed i never got to hear the last few. well, if that is the last i'll hear from you musically, keep up the good work.

yeah, but your soundcloud shows the upload dates, so even if you don't register the copyrights, you can show you published them first online (besides having the master recordings). also, you can share private tracks with only some followers (or even nonfollowers) rather than all.

heyyyy you deleted your soundcloud account... right after sending me and a few other people a private track, which i was about to play after catching up on your last few days of uploads. what gives? i still want to hear these and the old ones, too. is the "2012 demos" coming soon to a bandcamp near you?

Not a problem. I think the Welder project shows a sensibility which is promising for Eskmo going forward.

i mentioned earlier that i listened to doom's 'born like this.,' which i liked. i also liked four tet's 'there is love in you,' but it's not really your style, although you never know. i just listened to the eno album, and most of it is on par with his classic instrumental albums, but there is a string of tracks near the middle that is a little too "soundtrack-y" for my tastes, but they far from ruin the album. 'in c remixed' is next.

Investing in The Reegs has been on my to-do list for a while. I'll admit its much more affordable than finding The Sun and the Moon.

Haha yeah I went on a pretty bad Nuge spree yesterday at work... I feel like I must have listened to "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" around five times. Anyway, Spotify is pretty cool; I'd try to find yourself an invite and check it out. Like any music streaming service, the downfall is that it's not going to have every song you want, though it's got a better library than most. Depending on your needs, you might want to get a Google Music invite instead... there's no free streaming content like in Spotify, but it basically loads your whole music collection onto their servers so that you can listen to it anywhere.

man, i really like ahmad jamal. i actually play the hell out of another album of his, awakenings, but the id3 tags are missing so i guess he hasn't shown up on my last.fm before.. on a different note, have you heard anna calvi as yet? i'm in love with her album at the moment. i guess she's somewhat reminiscent of p.j. harvey, yet she has her own thing - and there's all this guitar on her album that sounds like duane eddy or ry cooder.

that one? a little place called the lesson, only the poster didn't know who the artist was and wanted to find out. eventually, we all did. although seemingly obscure, it turns out nanang tatang is ida, who i'd heard of. i'm just a fan of covers. now to go with your current listening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdAKM39KUcM
