Hey bro, nice charts. Check out my Thrash/Crossover band. It's just 2 songs, should be able to find the time to listen. :) http://www.mediafire.com/?ls753dw7kpel4id

After that they're definitely more hard rock but since I like shoegaze and post-punk as well as metal, it appeals to me too. All in all they're really not a metalhead's band, even on the first two albums, so you won't like 'em if you have that mindset. But the music is pretty dang beautiful - at least on the first four albums.

I only liked Brave Murder Day for a while, and you're right that it's totally different from both Bloodbath and Opeth. BMD has incredibly beautiful melodies all over the place and there probably is something wrong with you if you don't like that one. DoDS on the other hand has more grating vocals and is more of a doom album (BMD was already moving into that power chord strumming shoegazy sound a bit), but again it has some incredibly despairing and beautiful moments.

Actually had that downloaded somewhere at some point but deleted it before ever giving it a fair listen because I realized while cleaning up my library that I never get all that much out of non-Slayer thrash. I'll definitely give it a listen or two now though, as Altars of Madness obviously rules as well.

Yeah, I went to Best Buy with a friend the other day and he said it was pretty solid. I went ahead and bought it and I've been pretty surprised. It's a great album.

I'd take a look at neuraxis. I've been moderately addicted tothem for 2 years now. Their most recent album iss kinda melo, their first is grind, their second is progressive. They've done everything man. And it's all good
