The Audition are a pop-punk band from Chicago, Illinois. Ryan O'Connor, Seth Johnson and Timmy Klepek are from Chicago, while Danny Stevens is from Detroit, Michigan.
Drummer Ryan O'Connor and ex-bassist Joe Lussa formed the band in their hometown of Elmhurst, Illinois in 2003. Their first CD was a six-song EP entitled "All In Your Head". The first EP was released before Seth Johnson, Danny Stevens and Timmy Klepek joined the band.
In 2005 they signed to Victory Records and released their debut album "Controversy Loves Company". In early January 2008 they released their second full length LP entitled "Champion". It was the first record of the band which make it into the Billboard 200, entering at #157. Their latest record is named "Self-Titled Album" and was released on April 2009.
