carla > bjork ...and DreamFragments, YOUR comment was one of the dumbest i've read. people have different opinions. it's the internet. get used to it.

Carla's vocals are better than Björk??? Are you fucking high? That is one of the dumbest things I've read in a shoutbox outside of the usual vitriol spouted by trolls. Yes, Both are incredibly good, but comparing her to Björk is downright silly.

carla does not sound like bjork. her voice is much... stronger, much darker, rougher. also, this song is fucking amazing.

Sorry but I have to admit, the song really reminded me of bjork. Not that it's either a bad or a good thing though.

This ist really... special :D - but nevertheless some kind of amazing. And the vocals reminded me of Björk as well.. this very special kind of pronounciation is so uncommon, that one has to think of Björk immediately - regardless the undeniable differences. That's what I think ;)

This band as a whole reminds me of Bjork about as much as Big Black reminds me of Kraftwerk.

Those comparing SGM to Bjork need to go out, purchase an album by SGM and listen to it in its entirety. I suspect they'd change their minds pretty quickly.

In response to comments of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum " posing" (a teenage descriptor) Bjork: I hate when people complain that a band sounds like another band based on vocal similarities. At the end of the day the range of the human voice is limited by physiological parameters, so if a vocalist sounds like another vocalist, it shouldn't detract from differences in musical style and/or construction.
