The music for the first Maxwell Watts Album ‘Out of the Blue’ was born out of a passion for multiculturalism, social justice, and personal relationships in the Manchester rain. ‘Out of the Blue’ is a deep lush mix of pop, folk and world music influences. Lyrical themes include: How politicians ignore the real issues, social injustice and the futility of selfish ambition. In other songs, Maxwell tackles reflecting on past relationships and also the hopeless lust for the next. Maxwell is currently working in Berlin/Germany and has finished writing his new album with his friend Ché from Brazil.
