well, everyone says that the adelaide music scene is pretty good. it'd have to be, there's not much else adelaide's got going for it. fire! santa rosa, fire! are a pretty good indie band. they've done a fair bit of playing around the country (although i might be slightly bias. one of my best friends is dating the lead singer). tyger tyger are quite good and they play a fair bit around adelaide so that's cool. bands like the shiny brights and former child stars have made a bit of a name for themselves so that's cool. i think adelaide's got a good range of music really, and i think the indie scene is well catered for :D

i love have you got it yet! my friend convinced me to download it a while back because she had the run the red light ep, so i bought it from itunes. it's great. i actually adore just about all of their songs. except perhaps ecstasy...

nah, i had to download revolver seperately. it has roses, baby you're so new york, we are the counter culture and the time on it. i adore baby you're so new york and we are the counter culture. and it's interesting to see how their sounds have evolved.

yeah, i respect that. for instance i'm obsessed with their counter culture ep at the moment. have you heard it? it's really fantastic!

i think british india are slowly (or rapidly) inching their way up my favourite bands/artists list. they're certainly the one i listen to most. run the red light is probably my second favourite song ever after under pressure, mostly because it was the first bi song i ever heard. ahhhh, memories.

band of all time? queen. and my favourite song ever is under pressure. because in my mind nothing can be better than the collaboration of queen and david bowie. *lesigh* how about you?

on guillotine my favourites would be run the red light, tie up my hands and russian roulette and on thieves it's god is dead, mona lisa overdrive and nic the poet. i love the lyrics for god is dead and mona lisa overdrive and nic the poet is just amazing. definitely one of their best live songs!

i've had the debate with myself over which is better since thieves came out. and it's always come to "i don't know". they're both different in their own amazing way. i think their lyrics got better or more indepth in thieves, but at the same time i love the rawness of guillotine. it's impossible to choose! what are your favourite tracks on each album?

well, that's what i've been trying to tell him. it'd be worth going for the old stuff. man, british india truly are a live act. everytime i see them live they blow my mind. good to see that someone else got in on the action! my friends and i were crushed against the front of the stage, and the gov doesn't have any space between the crowd and the stage so we were right infront of the stage. declan invited my friends and i up on stage because we were being crushed by crowd surfers and then everyone else went up too. needless to say will, dec, nic and matt bailed fairly quickly when they saw the crowd surging towards them!

it's weird, but i'm worried that no gigs will stand up to british india. i mean, it ended with everyone on stage dancing with them. ha! i'll check them out, thanks! i've got a friend who used to adore the vines, and i'm trying to convince him to go see them, but he's hesitant because he loathes melodia. not sure how that'll pan out, but i'm sure they'd put on a good show regardless of how they're style has changed.

hey, hope you don't mind random adds. saw you on the top listeners on british india and you're one of the first people on last.fm i've had "high" musical compatibility with. probably not a lot of basis for a add, but hey, why not.

haha :P It is a cool album, I like Kerplunk more of those two albums, though going to pasalacqua is a fair cool song :P And Only Of You. :D But yeah, you got a point, they got a lot of air play, those songs. :P I loved it at the time. Then it got a bit boring :P So i got International superhits :D

Well Green Day were like.. huge for me. I first found them when my mate showed me American Idiot. And these days I have posters all over my room, I know all their songs, have all their albums, and they are my favourite band. But I would say either Redundant or like.. Macy's Day Parade are my favourite Green Day songs. And favourite album would probably be either Dookie or American Idiot.

Oh ok. Well yeah, I was really into their old stuff, Infinity on High wasnt as great =/ But this new one is sorta like the American Idiot transformation for Green Day. Its got Political Undertones. I see Nimrod is your highest played Green Day album. Got any fav songs of all their stuff?

Yeah, some people are just never satisfied. Have you heard Fall Out Boy's new one, I Don't Care? Or have you even heard they are writing a new album :P

Yeah ! Nothing Lasts Forever always makes me sad =/ But its a great song. And I hate it when fans are like, ehhh you've changed. One of the greatest thing about following a band is that you can watch how they change and evolve. I personally live off the change in music of some of my favourite bands. Fall Out Boy and Green Day being two bands who have changed a heap too.

Well I guess I would say my favourite album is for sure their self titled one. And favourite song.. Either Second Solution, Fly Away or Wake up. Long Live the weekend is one of my favs too :)

Ah, thank you for the recs! Will definitely check them out! :) i'm sure I'll be able to track them down. Hey, I should rec you something back. If you don't know them, I'd say you can't go wrong with Elbow - possibly the best British band around. Their new album The Seldom Seen Kid is jammed full of big riffs, sweeping epics, euphoric highs & tender lows - everyone should own this album! :D

Hi! Ah, some great Aussie bands on your profile! :) An Aussie workmate has got me into a load of great Aussie bands recently. If I listened to them a bit more I reckon our compatibility would be higher! Give me a chance & I'll get there, but i'm so swamped by new music these days! Ah, I love that Jebediah track in your recently played! :)
