I downloaded The Song of Morgan ages ago and I think I got one disc into it. I'm sure it's great but I'd have to be in the right frame of mind for such an undertaking, since I'd want to listen to it all in one go (or at least in two or three lots over a few days or something). I'm alright -- how's yrself?

Oh that's cool. No way can I afford to buy any music from him just now, though, as I'm just home from Primavera in Barcelona, hah. One day.

Yeah I picked up 3 Goatwhore vinyls, a Goatwhore shirt, a Behemoth shirt and a Nile shirt. Both days were crazy there were so many people there I saw.

Honestly, I didn't care for it too much. Maybe I should give it another listen but I prefer their classic 90s stuff a lot more. I was never really a fan of Broken Hope until about last year actually when they did the 25th Anniversary Tour. My favorite Chicago death metal band has always been and always will be Macabre. Their new record wasn't too hot either but they still put on an amazing show haha.

Same but some shows are either too far from me or costs a lot of money. It looks like the next show I'm going to is Broken Hope which is about an hour drive from me but tickets are about $10. I'm hoping to see Dennis DeYoung from Styx (yeah I love Styx) but those tickets are around $80 which at the moment is out of my price range

Just read a recent article on it. Nice to have a hard release date of May 13th. It'll be interesting to hear how Gira and pals follow up an album like the Seer (which essentially felt like a culmination of all the sounds/ ideas Swans have delved into since their initial inception).
