Great Avatar, I could recognize the French New Wave / Godard from a mile away even though I still haven't seen Masculin, féminin. I've seen like 15 other Godard movies though lol.

I'm very happy about it. Not really that it will be a classic Guwop album or that it was really good, but mostly the direction in which he's going and the clearness of his vocals. The new Gucci might be a clone, but I like this one better.

I'm disappointed you missed them. If you want something similar listen to Melody's Echo Chamber Broadcast's Tender Buttons. But I'd also rec A Sunny Day in Glassows Sea When Absent, as well as M83's Red Seas, Lost Ghosts

TLOP, WTT, Grad, Yeezus, CD, LR, MBDTF, 808s. 808s is his most innovative and intropsective album.

thats fair. 808s is definitely more emotional. but idk i just prefer a song like through the wire, where its a depressing story but kind of triumphant at the same time, to a song like welcome to heartbreak where he is just being self deprecating

damn son okay, i don't really feel like ranking them all but The College Dropout is my favorite because he was in his prime lyrically and production-wise imo. I like the general mood of the album and the passion he brought to every track, it just feels more personal than any of his other releases and i really like that.

I'll definitely do that, i just started listening to them last week and it's truly some great stuff. You should listen to Jens Lekman if you are into pop with dance sensibilities.
