    2001 – até o momento (23 anos)

Frost Like Ashes formed in Spring of 2001. Sebat had experience in bands such as World Funeral and Coven as vocalist, but he would begin this musical manifestation on guitar with Frost Like Ashes. Joining with Syntyche on Bass, Azahel (formerly of Possession) on Vocals, and eventually, Adonijah (formerly of Possession and Steadfast) on Drums and Keys, Frost Like Ashes had recorded 4 songs by 2002. "Immortals" had more than 1100 downloads in the first few months of its release. "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" was featured on the compilation entitled "A Brutal Christmas". "Adorers of Blood" was released on a British compilation called "Arachnid Terror" and the final song, "A Cruel Verse" was added to the three songs that were recorded in the Fall of 2002 to create Frost Like Ashes' first CD entitled "Pure As The Blood Covered Snow".

In 2002 Frost Like Ashes joined with Sounds Of The Dead Records for the release of "Pure As…". Though "Pure As…" was a critical success, Frost Like Ashes and SOTD parted ways in 2003. Several songs had been completed for the planned full-length, "Tophet". Due to the folding of SOTD, "Tophet" was put on hold as another label was sought. In the interim, one of the songs that was already complete, "Nightfall's Cold Kiss" was released on the internet, a compilation called the Full Metal Box Set, and for radio play. The song garnered very good response. In the summer of 2004, Frost Like Ashes signed to PsychoAcoustix Records. They also solidified the line up with Qoheleth on the Keys and Ruach on Bass, after Syntyche's departure from the band. Frost Like Ashes went ahead with the scheduled recording of "Tophet" in the winter of 2004. "Tophet" was released in 2005 despite the folding of PsychoAcoustix Records due to the Owner's unfortunate death. Through the efforts of Frost Like Ashes, the first pressing of "Tophet" has sold out. Through 2006 Frost Like Ashes were able to play live with the most influential shows being with Psyclon Nine in Omaha and Crimson Moonlight in Minneapolis.

With a desire to further expose "Tophet" to a greater audience, Frost Like Ashes has joined with Open Grave Records for in-store distribution. Frost Like Ashes is excited about this new partnership and are looking to the future with much anticipation. Frost Like Ashes has three new projects in the works made possible through the use of their own digital recording studio. "Born To Pieces" has been released and is virtually sold out, "Covered In Frost" is being tracked and "Gods of the Great Whore" is being developed musically and lyrically.
